Paula's Rating:
Skin Type:All Skin Type
Retail Price:S$950.00
Available: Sephora, Takashimaya

Product's Claims: With SUPREMŸA, Sisley helps to delay the skin’s natural aging process for a visibly rejuvenated appearance. At the heart of this exceptional night skin care: Phyto-complex LC12, a powerful combination of active plant extracts, based on Sisley’s research on cellular life. It works at night, a key moment for skin regeneration, to repair past damages and to prepare the cells’ future. A surprising cream serum texture. Spectacular rejuvenating results.

Paula's Review: Unless you’re spellbound (or simply suckered) into believing that Sisley’s LC12 plant complex can repair all cellular damage (at night, of course, because your skin knows what time it is, right?), there is no reason in the world to consider this moisturizer. Even for those with a limitless cosmetic budget deserve to know that this emollient moisturizer isn’t worth the splurge. Yes, it contains some very helpful ingredients proven to make dry skin look and feel better, but none of these ingredients come even close to justifying Sisley’s “are you serious?” price. Most of the plant extracts they included also show up in many other products, and none of the extracts have research demonstrating they can regenerate skin or ensure new skin cells face a happier future. Even more disgusting is that almost half of the potentially helpful ingredients are listed after the preservative, which means they are barely present, a further huge failure. For what Sisley is charging, every anti-aging ingredient known to man should be front and center in this product. Although the blend of emollients and several plant extracts can be helpful for dry skin, this deserves a Poor rating, not only for its outlandish price, but also because it contains a blend of fragrant oils and fragrance chemicals known to irritate skin. Imagine paying this much for a product whose fragrance may actually make your skin worse!
