Product's Claims: A unique powder-to-emulsion treatment which delivers a high concentration of Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (MAP) combined with brightening agents and exfoliants to optimize skin clarity. Glides gently over skin, or can be blended in with your prescribed Dermalogica Moisturizer.
Paula's Review: This liquid powder product would be an interesting way to experiment with stabilized vitamin C. The form of vitamin C is magnesium ascorbyl phosphate. Based on its concentration, there is reason to believe you will see some improvement in skin discolorations, although the research is clear that the results will not be as impressive as what you’d get from a hydroquinone-based product. It’s good that there are other antioxidants, a cell-communicating ingredient, and some skin-identical ingredients included, too, because without them this would have been a one-note product not worth its price. Although this is still on the extremely pricey side (you’re only getting 0.3 ounce, making this about $250 per ounce), it’s a good formula in stable packaging. This product is suitable for all skin types.
