Product's Claims: Jurlique Purely Age-Defying Eye Cream reduces lines, wrinkles, crow's feet, undereye puffiness, dark circles, and uneven texture. This restorative, invigorating solution renews the delicate skin around the eyes. It increases hydration and brightness, and provides a tightening "lift" that erases years from your complexion. Light-reflecting effects banish signs of fatigue and create a luminous, wide-awake look.
Paula's Review: Sigh … another eye cream claiming to do it all. If any of the numerous eye creams worked, who would still be bemoaning their dark circles, puffiness, wrinkles, and so on, and why would lines sell more than one—if this one worked, the others wouldn’t be needed. Nonetheless, this won’t defy age in any way. If anything, its formula is more problematic than helpful for skin anywhere on the face. It contains a lot of mica for shine, but shine isn’t skin care, nor does it make wrinkles less apparent. The shine would be forgivable if this didn’t contain a potentially irritating amount of arnica and daisy extracts. Both can cause dermatitis and are not recommended for topical use by anyone allergic to ragweed or similar plants, such as marigolds and chrysanthemums.
